2017-06-08
Techman Robot won the top distinction in this year’s COMPUTEX d&i awards, the COMPUTEX d&i gold award 2017. From over 255 submissions, only 5 most outstanding designs were awarded the gold by the judging panel comprised of six independent experts. The jury released the following statement regarding its decision to issue TM5 the gold:
“Robots are very common in manufacturing factories. Integrating robots, machinery, computer vision and artificial networks is of general interest right now. However, developing robots like TM5 is a huge investment, and it might be an important paradigm shift for the next decade.”
The COMPUTEX d&i awards, hosted for the first time in 2008 by TAITRA in cooperation with the iF DESIGN ASIA Ltd., have become a constant feature of the COMPUTEX TAIPEI trade fair. It honors products that stand out through excellent design and innovation.
